Hi all, am looking for death of the above relation. He was the son of Joah and Agnes (Siddall) Ellis. He married Margaret Coxon Born 9 March 1892 Died 25 Jan 1975 Blair Atholl.

Patchem thanks. They were married 26 Apr 1916. Stayed Cleckheaton, area mainly then Margaret moved to Burton near Kendall and then to Dundee finaly to Blair Atholl.

Unless I'm completely off course it can't be 1941 due ti me having a picture of Arthur and Margaret when my parents and I went to see them in Burton and I was born in 1952.

The death patchem found looks likely to me. Spen Valley would cover Cleckheaton.

There looks to be a son for Ellis/Coxon - Frederick A Ellis born in 1921 in N Bierley, who is in at least 3 trees on here. Have you tried to contact any of the tree owners?

Do you know what happened to the son, or is he still alive?

Added: Son appears to have died in Blair Atholl in 1978.

If Margaret in 1939 was living in Victoria House, and Victoria House appears to still be showing on Main Street in Burton, and the probate for the will of Arthur who was living at Main Street is to a Margaret, then you have to seriously consider that death in 1941.

Or does the photo that you have show you with them in 1952?

YES My Father Frederick Arthur Ellis died I 1975

YES Arthur was the Cinema Manager

My son and I are now thinking that our Arthur died 1941 (We will get in touch with relatives that might be able to help. (thanks Patchem).

The Picture that I have the man in it might be Margarets Brother Frederic,

My son tried to get into Household Meathop Sanatorium , South Westmorland R.D., Westmorland, England (thanks SAFC) but they couldn't find any details of Arthur.
