I am looking for any record of a James McNeill,b.c.1823,Ireland.On ancestry various trees say he was married to a Mary Mairs. One tree, however, says he may have been married twice? There a quite a few Scottish records of a Mary McNeill and her family |

Unfortunately, James McNeill is a very common name - there could be lots of them born about the same time. |

Look at the inscription info on findagrave, it seems obvious that this man has no connection to Mary Mairs or the family in Port Glasgow |
