Thank you again to all you kind researchers who have yet again furthered my understanding of the family tree. I know I have two great threads going here and sometimes I probably just need to back track but then I forget :-S Mainly this new one has been great as it's help tie up a few loose ends pertaining to my great grandfather Hugh Frizzell. |

We went through all of this the last time and Laird ( Kerensky) said that he added it all to his tree? |

Eringobragh1916 many thanks for explaining. One would assume TB was big amongst the working class at this time. |

GlassgowLass many thanks as always, more stuff to add to the tree. There's so much info on the other thread that I felt it would be easier to extract a few useful snippets here. I've wrote a letter and posted today to Quarriers as the online form was being picky about my email address. |

And such a sad life (one presumes). She never knew her father; orphaned at approx 6; only sibling departs for Canada when she's 10. All topped off by heart disease and early death. |

Here's Annie in 1901 - in Kilmacolm. I expect Hugh was taken there too at first, after their mother's death. Then he was sent almost immediately to Canada because he was old enough to work - or just because he was a boy. In which case he would know where Annie was - but maybe Quarriers didn't know where he was when she died. Or maybe he just left it to them to register her death : |
