	Not quite sure as the post is quite jumbled, but I can only find the death of a John Jordan in 1883 in Liverpool and not Edward. Kath. x

Member Since: June 2008 Posts: 9 Send Message	Hello sorry to confuse you but I know that Edward Jordan lived in Liverpool from 1861 till his death in 1883 and I have the census 1861 1871 1881 its his family in Belfast I would love to trace have tried lots of roots but still no luck.

Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 5,047 Send Message	Elizabeth.....it is only possible to try and trace Edward's Roots if we have info.relating to him and his time in Liverpool..hence the reason for the above Census being posted. Assuming it is the correct family...... From the Census 1861 posted by safc we can see all his children were b Ireland and he obviously arrived sometime between 1861 and 1870 when a child Margaret appears to have been b Liverpool. You may already have all this but we did not.... How do you know his father was named John...? Do you have a Religion.for the family ?
