Find Ancestors

I have been trying to find out more about Eliza Cawood, maiden name Wade(?); born in Chelmsford, Essex 1821/22. (I can't find siblings)
She married William Cawood (an Iron Moulder) born 1814 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire (registered late and squeezed in as William Cakwood, you can imagine how difficult it was to find him as everyone's tree had him born in 1822).

I can't find a marriage.
Children:

Henry baptised on 10 Jun 1844 in SAINT JOHN AND SAINT MARTIN, BEVERLEY, YORK,
parents William and Eliza. (Eliza would have been 22 or 23, not giving much time for a
previous marriage).
Henry died 18 Dec 1847 at Kingston-Upon-Hull aged 3 father William Cawood.

Martha born 5 Sept 1846 at Myson, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire East Riding,
I sent for her birth certificate and the mother was listed as Eliza ’FORMERLY' wade.
There isn't a full stop after Eliza so that doesn't make it look like 'Elizabeth'.
Had Eliza been married before?

William: born and died in 1849. Died Ware Hertfordshire.

1861 Census, Shortly after William's death Gt. Grandmother Eliza Cawood can be found in Preston (see image) living with her three living children. I can't find why she would have scooted off to Preston, what was the draw there? I have searched the 1861 Census and there are many people who were born in Chelmsford and living in Preston.

Did Eliza's parent(s) originally come from Preston?

They moved around a lot. I can only presume it was work related, they had to move to where there was employment for them.

Were there other children? Not seeing a Cawood/Wade marriage.

A lot of people moved into industrial areas during an agricultural depression in 1850/60's. This was the time when cheap wheat was being imported. Some of my ancestors moved from Wiltshire to South Wales for example

There where people who organised mass migration from some parts of the country.

Top of my earlier list Chris (lol). Just can't find a death and he's not with them 1851

There is this one aged 3 months but no first name given and it would mean that was another place they lived. There are Cawoods in London in 1841, no other registration than Shrewsbury shows.
