Looking at the censuses, using that tree, Mark Fenton' wife if Jane, born Salford 1852. Do you think she changed her name?

Nope Ginns - I have everything on everyone else in the family - Just Margaret and 2 'mystery' children are baffling me.
I have now found possible info on the second child and have sent for a birth cert which should arrive next week and depending on what that says I will start it all up again.
Just thought there might be a possibility of something in Ireland while you still have this sub.
Thanks,
Dea x

There are too many Irish records coming up with a search of her name, birth year and father John. It's impossible to know if any of them are her
Any idea of mother/siblings names?

Not to worry Ginns - I was just 'clutching at straws' !!
There is no other info on her apart from what is on her marriage cert - name, age and father's name. She is not on any census or anything else that I can find.
I will wait to see if the child's birth cert brings anything useful but I am not holding out much hope.
Thanks anyway,
Dea x

HI Gins
Not sure if the records you have access to go as recent as this, but I'm looking for a Kevin McLeish born around 1934 +/- a couple of years or actually earlier in the 1920s.
He lived in England for a time in the early 1950s, but have no idea where he was from other than Ireland, and no idea where he went.
Cheers, Flip

OK Thanks Gins. Every avenue I try gives no results - apart from I must have hit a nerve once when I posted for info and it was reported within a couple of minutes and then removed (and there was no specific details in the post).

Julie,
I think the boundaries have changed at some point as Adrigole came under Kerry at that time.
If you are looking specifically at that area there are also these baptisms with father John:
Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - ADRIGOLE Name JEREMIAH HARRINGTON Date of Birth 17 April 1833 (BASED ON OTHER DATE INFORMATION) Address DROMENTEVERAH Father JOHN HARRINGTON Mother CATHERINE SULLIVAN
Child Denomination RC Sponsor 1 JOHN HARRINGTON Sponsor 2 MARY HARRINGTON -----------------------------
Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - ADRIGOLE Name JEREMIAH HARRINGTON Date of Birth 6 May 1833 (BASED ON OTHER DATE INFORMATION) Address LEITRIM Father JOHN HARRINGTON Mother MARGARET SULLIVAN
Child Denomination RC Sponsor 1 CORNELIUS LEARY Sponsor 2 MARGARET SULLIVAN ------------------------------------------
You might find this (free) site useful if you are searching for Ancestors in that area:

Julie...Adrigole is located in the area known as the Beara Penninsula...it is.in the Civil Parish of Kilcaskan. The other places Donaghmore and Ballyhae are in another part of the County miles away.
If you think Jer. may have come from the Adrigole area then you would be wanting the Co Kerry Records....Adrigole is in the RC. Diocese of Kerry...The Beara Pennisular is the only area in Ireland that falls into 2 Counties...Cork and Kerry

Hi Gins. So sorry for the late response.
Thank you very much for searching for me and for all the additional information you found.
Thank you also to Chris, Austin & Erin.
We thought Sylvester had a twin brother, Andrew, but had no idea what happened to him. So sad.
And who knew Ballsbridge had it's very own slum! Makes very interesting reading.
You've given me lots to work with. Haven't looked at my tree at all for a couple years as I'm stuck on every branch, but having Edward's parents names and address should help me to go further back on his side.
Really appreciate your help, Gins. Thanks again for your time and generosity.
:-)
