	I don't know if this is relevant, needs checking ot but first marriage of Thomas Gott seems to be this one Marriages Jun 1855 (>99%) CAPSTICK Margaret Kendal 10b 809 GOTT Thomas Kendal 10b 809 Results: Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: GOTT, MARGARET CAPSTICK Order GRO Reference: 1862 D Quarter in SEDBERGH Volume 09A Page 2 GOTT, MARY=JANE CAPSTICK Order GRO Reference: 1861 M Quarter in SEDBERGH Volume 09A Page 1 There is a Joseph Greenwood born 1878 West derby ( Liverpool ) whose mmn is given as Cabstick but I think it is Capstick, there are a couple of Capstick? Greenwood marriages in the Sedbergh district which 'might' tie in. If Joseph was not actually the grandson of Thomas and Nancy , but connected to his first wife Margaret Capstick....??

	in 1891 Joseph Greenwood aged 12 is show as grandson of the head of the house - that being Nancy Winder - my connection and her husband Thomas Gott - Residence Westmorland, England. The children of the above couple are Mary Jane Gott 1861 Margaret 1863 Bestsy 1870 John 1871 Sarah 1874 Many thanks in advance
