I can't think why I always had it as a death 1917 then maybe because I saw the other William born 1919 by mother Birks - I just assume William Henry died because why on earth would you have two kids named the same unless it was just out of respect for the uncle that died in the First World War - William Henry Povey 1896.

It doesn't look as if William Henry Povey died in 1917...

Bit confused now by this 1939 register because according to records William ( Henry ) Povey 1916 died 1917 and only the other William ( yes I know why name them both William !!) survived.
