Scotlands People doesn't show any birth for an Alfred Ritchie anywhere in Scotland 1866 - 73.

There are loads of James Ritchies born throughout Scotland in that same time frame, but none with middle name Alfred.

No James or Alfred Ritchies born in Ross & Cromarty in that time, let alone Invergordon in particular.
