Possibly Alexander's birth ???
MACDONALD ALEXANDER ALEXANDER MACDONALD/CHRISTY SUTHERLAND 0 02/11/1840 101/ 20 75 Kiltarlity
Two other Alexander MacDonalds were born in Kiltarlity in 1840, in March and May, but the November one above is more likely to have his YOB as 1841 on censuses. There was also an Alexander McDonald born Kiltarlity in August 1842.

Please can anyone assist. I am looking for more information on Alexander Macdonald and Annie Munro from Edderton, Ross-shire around 1871. He was the stationmaster at Edderton at the time. Their son, John Macdonald was born 1871 and went off to fight in the Boer war in 1899. John then took up a position at Town Clerk in Bulawayo, Rhodesia. He came home to his father (Alexander) in Fochabers in 1919 due to ill health, and died there on 30/08/1919. Annie Munro was already deceased, but Alexander was at his sons side when he died in Fochabers.
I would be grateful for any bmd information on Annie Munro and Alexander Macdonald.
