EDIT from https://familysearch.org/wiki/en/Stonar,_Kent_Genealogy
STONAR (St. Augustine), a parish, in the union of the Isle of Thanet, hundred of Ringslow, or Isle of Thanet, lathe of St. Augustine, E. division of Kent, ¾ of a mile (N. by E.) from Sandwich.
Stonar was a former civil parish which was part of the Isle of Thanet Rural District, see Isle of Thanet Rural District Wikipedia and is now part of Sandwich borough in Kent.
Edward Hasted refers to the ruined Ancient Parish of Stonar and the manorial history The History and Topographical Survey of the County of Kent: Volume 10 (1800), pp. 406-424. Date accessed: 14 November 2013. at British History Online
The Ancient Parish as Hasted explains had no communicants and therefore there are no surviving parish registers or Bishop's Transcripts.
Stonar is within the modern parish of Sandwich St Clement, Kent and a parish boundary map at A church near you illustrates the extent of the parish.
In 1802 there is a Richard Arnold of St Clement marrying an Elizabeth Taylor. Witnesses were William Arnold and Elizabeth Forrest. Could this be a brother perhaps?
EDIT banns for this couple in 1800 (a long time before they actually married) show the groom was from St John in Thanet (Margate), St John the Baptist.
