	My Father was John Greenhalgh born in Bolton on 3 June 1922, sister to Ellen Greenhalgh (married Robert Hughes in 1945) born 8 May 1920. His Father was Joseph Greenhalgh who married Ann Dillon in Oct/Nov/Dec 1918. I think Joseph was born in 1894 and Ann in 1893. Ann passed away in 1954 and Joseph emigrated to Montreal Canada in 1958 with Ellen Hughes and her twin children Robert Drummond and Ellen Elizabeth Hughes. I have no information of ancestors prior to Joseph and Ann and would appreciate help in tracing back further. I live in South Africa so tracing is limited to info on family trees. Thank you. 	There is no Joseoh Greenhalgh on page 120 of the 1960 Montreal street directory http://bibnum2.bnquebec.ca/bna/lovell/ Montreal is the normal summer port of entry from Europe to all points W of Montreal in Canada.
