Possible death for that George safc. He seems to have married a Roseanna Bristow in 1833. |

Have just had a look on Ancestry, and I think it is the George Whittle, born Bremhill in 1807, that died in 1852,. Also that George married a Rosanna Bristow. That would explain the presence of visitor George Bristow. in the 1851 census. |

Being "of the same parish" at time of marriage, doesn't necessarily mean that he was born there unfortunately. It would be too easy ! |

No Sue, - on the 1841 'born in County' usually means just that and you should be able to rely upon it, though no info on any census can be totally without doubt as it depended on whether the people answering the questions actually told the 'whole truth' and the accuracy of those who wrote the answers down. |
