Maybe not the above (although ties in with DOB on the 1939 register). This seems to be the marriage of that David's parents and the Christian names are wrong

Since my last post I found a David Holland in the 1901 census with correct birth year and place of birth and occupation living with wife 'Emile' . We know from 1911 census that he had only been married to Clara Annie Sellers for 4 years , but I cant find a marriage for David to Emilie or a death for her before 1907. ? Thanks Pam

I've had a quick look but I can't see David or Bridget before the 1911 census- I'm nudging this up in case anyone else can spot something.

Just to recap- we are looking for David and Bridget before 1911:

In 1911 David is listed as 33 (b1878 Pendleton, Salford)

His mother Bridget is living with him. She is listed as 70 (born 1841 County Galway).

Can anyone see a possible death for Bridget- perhaps under different first name or different surname?

Williams occupation was Coalminer. At the time of David's marriage on 26th January 1907 in Salford registry office he lived at 20 Rutland Street Salford. I am unable to give you names of witnesses on marriage certificate until Friday as I am away from home until then and don't have it with me, but I had written the other details The address of David's Wife at time of marriage was 16 Hazel Street Salford. Not seeing Bridget's death.

I Have been unable to find David Holland born approx. 1878 Pendlebury Lancashire in the 1901 1891 or 1881 census. In the 1911 census his Mother is living with them and named as Bridget (widow) I have his marriage certificate to Clara Annie Sellers and his Fathers name is William Holland. Any help with this would be gratefully received. Have also not found a marriage for a William Holland to a Bridget.Thanks Pam

I am searching for details of birth and the parents/grandparents of Clara Annie Sellers who married David Holland in Salford Lancashire on 26th January 1907. Clara's Father William Sellers was a Railway Porter and given as deceased at time of marriage above. Clara's Mother was Elizabeth born in Dublin Ireland. Clara died in 1928 aged 47. and is buried in Pendlebury Lancashire. I have also been unable to establish the maiden name of Clara's Mother Elizabeth
