I'm wondering if Ronald was born in 1938? (no initial, born Southampton, mmn Jones)

Not sure where he'd have been in 1939 though- and as he's still living we wont find him. - However, you'd think Ronald would know his own birth year!

There is also a David J born 1943 Southampton (mmn Jones)

What were Ceridwen and William doing in Southampton?

On your Grandfather's birth certificate- what address is given and what was his father's occupation.

Is Ronald not in touch with his siblings?

I actually wondered if this was the couple, (William's occupation on Ronald's birth certificate might help to confirm or rule them out)- Elizabeth's initial is transcribed as a B but it has been written over so hard to tell- it's possibly a C:

My Grandad was born in Southampton. His mum is from Bala and his dad is from Borth y Gest near porthmadog apparently according to my grandmother

So now I believe the LLANWRST marriage between ROBERTS and JONES in 1934 is correct

CERIDWEN ELIZABETH/ELSBETH JONES is the name I should be looking for.

I believe her surname may have been Davies Catherine so I think this may be the right one. It is the only marriage I can find between a William Griffith Roberts and a Ceridwen Elizabeth........although I have been told its Elsbeth for years so I'm wondering if its got confused somewhere along the line.
