On page 1 of thread Nyx/greyghost/safc posted abt the UK outgoing records for the Coffield 1919 trips.
Here's the Canadian incoming records for those trips:
Ship: SCOTIAN Shipping Line: Canadian Pacific Railway Co. Port of Departure: Liverpool Date of Departure: 1919-07-22 Port of Arrival: Quebec, Quebec Montreal, Quebec Date of Arrival: 1919-08-03 1919-08 Year: 1919 Microfilm Reel Number: T-14700 Reference: RG 76 Item Number: 6981 [Ancestry just lists him as 28 y.o. Merl with no readable surname I would read it as Neil - at any rate, he's a labouror intending to work in farming and headed to Virden, Man. http://data2.archives.ca/e/e145/e003605678.jpg;pvdbd9edcf3a9e1b1c - on last line]
Ship: PRETORIAN Shipping Line: Canadian Pacific Ocean Services Ltd. Port of Departure: Glasgow, Scotland Date of Departure: 1919-11-28 Port of Arrival: Saint John, N.B. Date of Arrival: 1919-12-11 Year: 1919 Microfilm Reel Number: T-14838 Reference: RG 76 Item Number: 19540 http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?id=CANIMM1913PLIST_2000908417-00342&op=img&app=passengerlist [Eleanor and Rachael are both headed for M*ley in Manitoba - I can't guess where. NB Ancestry mistakenly gives the post of arrival as St John's NL - see: http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?id=CANIMM1913PLIST_2000908417-00330&op=img&app=passengerlist ]
MargaretM has posted the 1921 census - I'll pm the image. Of particular interest is: Section Number: 2 Township Number: 7 Range Number: 20 Meridian Number: Wh [WP]
Most prairie rural addresses have this form - well typically they include the part of the section, usually a quadrant e.g., NE, as most farms started off with a free quarter section awarded under the Homestead Acts.
A 6 mile x 6 mile township block is identified by counting 6 m wide Township strips starting counting from the US border. Which township block within that strip is identified by counting 6m wide Ranges from the previous meridian.. In Manitoba, there is just one meridian - the 1st or Prime Meridian, and one counts either East of the Prime Meridian (EPM) or West of the Prime Meridiab (WPM). The Prime Meridian is at longitude 97°27'28".West - about 20 miles west of Winnipeg. This was the old W boundary of Manitoba when it was the size of a postage stamp, and this meridian was already partly surveyed, The next meidian (the 2nd) is at longitude 102°.West, then they're every 4° heading west. The Southern half of the SK-MB boundary is between ranges 29 & 30 WPM. For the numbering of the 36 1m x 1m sections within each township block, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_Land_Survey
A look up at: http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/postal-heritage-philately/post-offices-postmasters/Pages/post-offices-postmasters.aspx gets the location of P.O.s: Office Name: Virden Additional Information: Belleview - 9 miles Hargrave - 8 miles Sec. 22, Twp. 10, R. 26, WPM - 1908-03-05
Brandon MB Established 1881-08-01 Additional Information: Princess and 11th Sec. 23, Twp. 10, R. 19
Souris Sec. 33, Twp. 7, R. 21 - 1882-03-01
and 1921 census was Sec. 2, Twp. 7, R. 20, WPM
Brandon is MB's 2nd largest city (after Winnipeg) and is the main city of MB's western plains, so serves as a handy reference point. We see Neil's initial destination was 7 ranges due W of Manitoba (42 miles with a minor adjustment of up to 5 miles for sections). Souris is the nearest PO to the Coffield's 1921 home and is abt 5 m N and 8 m W of them. If you go to https://www.google.ca/maps/ and look up Souris, then switch to the satellite view, the 1 mile sections are quite easy to make out at the appropriate zoom, and you can count out to their home - it looks like they;re on the Souris R.

Finally here's sister Nellie's hubby's d.cert
Nellie's hubby James d 21/3/1990 a=102: http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Image/Genealogy/808ffacc-9072-4c86-a68c-5dc53e2d7a4e http://search-collections.royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/Image/Genealogy/aea8b84d-5933-4d99-af7a-30c926cf8d57 [Duffus is nearly 10km NE of the city of Elgin - throughout most of the 20th cent, it was in Moray -I don't know when the county was renamed from Elgin -certainly by 1891 - but that was after his birth. Trail is close to the US border in the east of BC.]

Hi just to lwt you know Thomas Standen. Senior was a Stevedore labourer. Thomas Owen was born. Kerby Street. Poplar. Emma Agnes Standen nee Rickman mother although we cannot find marriage certificate. She was Hart. Cannot find out what happened to her first husband George and Thomas senior. I am puzzled as in 1911 she is down as married. Keep digging. X

That's great news Deborah,
Did you order the birth certificate? Is Thomas listed as labourer?
The name of the street where they were living in 1903 is not clear on the baptism- looks at little like Korben or Kurby Street- is it any clearer on the birth certificate?
I can't see anything immediately obvious for him- although if he dropped the Latter Owen from his name- which looks likely, he isn't going to be the easiest person to find.
Have you trace his family/ siblings to check he's not in the same area as them?
I don't have access to ancestry world- perhaps someone could check to see if he left the uk after 1903.
Just in case it helps- A possible pension record on FMP gives his DOB as 31 July 1855
