Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me with Jacobina ( Ithink it might read Robina as her son Peter named his 1st born daughter Robina) parents names.
Jacobina was born abt 1792 at Dumferline Scotland. I know she married Peter Cunning 5th December 1819 at Dumfernline Scotland died 6th October 1891 at Portland Victoria Australia.
I have all 7 of their children, these I got from Family Search also have their immigration to Australia.

When you look at the census records, there are quite a few Sheddon / Shedden entries in Fife. Using the names that Jacobina gave her children you may be able to identify possible siblings for her. With a bit of luck she may have stuck to the Scottish naming pattern.

Scottish death registrations name both parents, including the mother's maiden surname. If you can identify a sibling that died after civil registration began in 1855 you would get her parents' names.

Well, if she used the Scottish naming pattern her parents would be Elizabeth and John and Peter's parents would be Andrew and Helen.
