noticed isabella died 2003, nice she had such good company :-)

from the photos i have of the shop and coal horse and cart this looks like the correct address they then moved to 151 Old Durham Road the large house which was then passed down the family i remember the house and staying there John and Susana had 16 children not all survived the house was left to my great aunt Isabella Lockey Donelly she was the only one given the Lockey name she never married as disabled as a child but lived until she was late 70 her along with my grandmother were very close they were a right pair for the times. :-)

Hi dont think the above grocer is the correct one as birth place for both not correct, was Isabella first husband Robert Lockie or Donavan? and what happened to him for her to marry Edward Donelly :-)

thank you very much this is the correct info I am new to this so a lot to learn many thanks for the valued information, my great aunt was also given the name Isabella Lockie donnelly we never new where the Lockie came from, John Donelly was my great Grandfather there was talk he went to America to bring his father back Edward not sure if this is true, my great grandfather when married had a coal merchants and a grocer shop and bought a large house for the family, i would love to find out how he was able to do this. :-)
