Thank you for all your efforts. I have applied for the marriage certificate to confirm the marriage for Tom and Daisy Gertrude Darlow. |

Probate record for a Tom Johnson - I don't see the death of a Tom Johnson anywhere in the first quarter of 1975: |

So Daisy and Tom had split, or Tom had died, between 1929 (conception of last Johnson / Darlow birth in Grimsby), and 1939. |

Well done Dea! I just had a gut feeling about that one last night but couldn't view the actual image on FMP. |

Looks like Either Tom and Daisy divorced or he was deceased by 1947? |

Having examined the photograph Tom has the insignia of a Battery quartermaster Sergeant on his arm, and therefore appears to be the second one listed by Argyllgran. |

I do not have his service number, but the second of those above appear most likely. |

There's this Tom, who was in the RFA and awarded the Military Medal, but there's no image, and no other info on Ancestry: |

St James is the parish church for Great Grimsby. St Pauls church was in Corporation Road Grimsby, and very close to Ayscough Street, where the parents were living and where the grandparents were living in Corporation Road. Of the siblings two were baptised at St James and all other sibligs were baptised at St Pauls. |

In this record he's baptised in a third church ???? |
