PRISONERS OF WAR
News has been received that Private William Reinwald, Green Howards, of 166 Fountains Road, Walton, is now a prisoner of war in Italy. He joined the Army in December, 1939, and was at the evacuation of Dunkirk, later going to the Middle East, his younger brother Hugh, was lost at sea on a merchant-man.

Has anyone info on Reinwald family Liverpool or origins of the name.
My grandfather William Charles Reinwald was born in Deventer Holland 1882, move to Liverpool 1903?
His mother was Helena Klerq from Holland.

I am looking for any Reinwald, my father William was born 1918 in Liverpool, his father was born in Holland. I've seen some of these results before but cant connect them to my branch of the family.
