Re Nottingham Archives -

apparently you only need to be a member (ie - have a card ) if you go there in person to look at records.

You don't seem to need to be a member to ask them to look things up for you, by email or letter - although there is a charge for that:

Olive - you need to read the sections re Accessing Archives at Nottingham.

Most records are available for general access. To look at Original archive material (microfiche are not original) you need an Inspire Library card - the info below will tell you what documents you need.

You won't find their baptism dates online - we've looked.

Perhaps the library/records office/archives staff might be able to figure it out from their birth dates, which you do have.

Thankyou for your reply

Do you mean The Archives Nottingham if so you need to be a member there

Once I can find the dates I’m looking I’m sure Central Library will have them there
Thankyou again

Were they really both born on Christmas Day?

Harry's birth:

COOKE, HARRY mms HOE
GRO Reference: 1879 M Quarter in RADFORD Volume 07B Page 274

And Olive's:

TAYLOR, OLIVE mms WOOLLEY
GRO Reference: 1883 M Quarter in NOTTINGHAM Volume 07B Page 381

But don't see any baptism record.

You want info which is very recent and it is unlikely to be available

This Canadian search relates to the 1950’s onwards. Other helpers please note
