So do you think the daughter married in 1972?

It does look promising Kucinta- although I can't see anything concrete to tie it in either.

There is a tree on Ancestry (User name tsgadam) that has Henry Frederick Stock b1909 Nailsea, Somerset with a partner (name is private), but likely Jean Dunn, and a daughter born in 1954 Bristol. The daughter was still living in Bristol 2011.

It might be worth contacting them as they obviously have later details of his life.

I'm still wondering if Henry went back to the Bristol area, as per the death I posted previously:

Herbert and Florence were Henry's parents

Hilda M Stock was the grandchild of Herbert and Florence. Hilda's parents were Herbert Stock (Henry's brother) and Annie Morris.
Hilda married David Vorley Norton in 1945, and she died in Worthing in 1989

so just a recap we are looking for Henry Frederick Stock born circa 1909 married to Florence Loughman 1935
He was a lorry driver but his family were builders
He had sister who ran/owned a café in New Malden in mid 1940s
We though he was born in Ponytpridd / Pontypool but not known for sure

If you haven't, I suggest the first step would be to get it- this will give his age, address and father's name. It would make searching for him a little easier, and ensure you are tracing the correct Henry.

There is a lorry driver called Frederick Henry Stock (I realise the names are reversed) living in Evesham in 1950, who appears in the Gloucestershire Echo as being fined for having an insecure load. He is employed by British Railways and his address is given.

It may not be him, but I've pmed you a snip of the article just in case it is.
