Hi everyone. I received 3 photos of my dad today, one as a child, one in his forties and one as an old man. Joan also sent us the order of service. The wake was held in a pub that I have drunk in. It was nice to see his true date of birth of 6/6/1931 on the paperwork. We have also received pictures of the cremation plot and got confirmation from the cemetery office that dad was cremated as Ronald John Derek Gore. The plaque just says Derek John Gore as this is what Joan wanted.
If anyone wants to help me find my sister Karina, born to Joan and Derek, I would be grateful. I don't have a surname for her......Joan said she might not tell her daughter about us and I wouldn't contact her without Joan telling her first but it would be nice to find her. She is married with 4 kids and lives on a pig farm in Tenby Wales.

I keep wandering how on earth we stayed living in Gloucester until I was 16 and nobody ever found us.........considering Queenie didn't die until I was 8 and the extended family was very large.
Probably too busy nicking bikes lol.........thanks again to you all.

If Karina was born with the surname Gore??

There does not appear to be any births or marriages registered for anyone of that name that i can find.

Joan married with the surname of Gore...........but i wonder what her maiden name really was?

Perhaps Karina was born before Joan and John married and her surname was register in Joan's maiden name?

Do you know when she was born?

It's difficult as these people are living! However:-

Think you'll find her under Corrina (Joan's maiden name Woodward)

Joan born 1936.

Suspect Corinna married twice (four children- two from each marriage)

Corrina's eldest daughter is on Facebook (and her Mum is one of her friends)- I'll send you the link.

I've also sent you Corrina's address taken from the 2014 electoral register. (Also just checked 192- address is the same for 2016)

I knew it would be complicated!

I believe it is Ann-Marie's husband who is related to the Gore family.

I have very nearly put the whole puzzle together about my life (with the help of you all) but one person is missing. My aunt, June Elizabeth Gore, born to Queenie in 1940....no father known, went missing not long after Queenie died in 1966,
The story we have been told is as follows:-
June Elizabeth married Anthony V Britton in 1962 in Kings Lynn, Norfolk....I have found this record. After Queenie died, Daphne Brenda Gore 1950, was asked by June to go and live with her in Norfolk as she was only 16. At this point, Esmie Bishop, who became Daphne's mother-in-law......wrote to June. Whatever was put in that letter, led June to never see or speak to Daphne again. Daphne doesn't know the content of that letter. Daphne went on to marry Cedric Bishop. A while later, Cedric felt the need to try and find June for Daphne. He went through the Salvation Army, who did find June. June sent a message back saying she was ok but wanted no contact.

So........can we find anything to go on......Anthony Britton's family came from Norfolk, hence the wedding taking place there. I have found a record for Anthony Vowles Britton but this doesn't seem to be right. June may have changed her name or remarried etc.
Considering Daphne has been helping me with missing gaps of info, it would be nice to help her to find her sister as they were very close.......when I spoke to Daphne's son, he said the letter to June was poisonous.......... :-(

192.com shows the couple in [place name removed] up to 2010 on the public electoral roll.

BT on line shows a listing for the name at an address with the same post code as the 2010 listing.

June's eldest daughter is on the 2003--2014 ER.

She has been at the same address for 13yrs.........so possibly still at that address now.

Details sent by PM.........including birth details of her son.

Kevin, would you remove the "T.B." name from your post, as I don't imagine that person would want herself being discussed on the internet without her knowledge.
