Thanks for that Prickles,I had not found an entry for his death.
In answer to your original question,I am trying to find any relatives ,particularly on the Crowther side,despite my Mother being married to Irvin it is unknown if he is my father.
I am pretty sure there may be some more family members out there who can cast further light on this puzzle.

To be honest I have not found a death for Mary either,I think she may have either remarried or still be alive :-D

There is no middle name.
