Just to recap the information:

It is likely that Florence Eleanor Foster born 3rd March 1879, married William Henry Short in Islington 1900.

Florence, as identified by Jude, remarried (possibly bigamous) to William Alexander Jones in Rochford 1922

William Henry Short sought a divorce in 1923! (as found by Choccy) and remarried Annie E Staff in 1924

In 1939 Florence is listed as Widowed

10 years (1949) later Florence marries Percy L Beadle in Rochford.

Florence dies in 1957 Rochford.

This is what they have for the sister (of Ivy Lilian) then: (which fits with her not living with Ivy Lilian in 1939)

Snap Jude- although the record the death is attached to is for 1987

Yes, but, I don't think the 1970 electoral register is connected- according to "the tree", the sister married in 1941 to Ernest Shaw and died in 1987.

EDIT:- Jude keeps pinching my words and typing them faster than me!!

Well I am sure about the 1938 one but that tree on Ancestry has her marrying a Mr Shaw and dying in 1960
