Probably would have been Birth announcements in papers also, if they had children.

there seem to be two possible deaths for Eliza from the freebmd site, assuming she died in Plymouth
Deaths Dec 1852 (>99%) LUSCOMBE Eliza Plymouth 5b 181
Deaths Sep 1853 (>99%) Luscombe Eliza Plymouth 5b 158
I cannot find any record, such as burial, that would allow me to attempt to determine which one.

Sheila ............
I think your questions re children are going to be impossible to answer definitively.
This is largely because the only way to determine parents before July 1st 1837, and without buying lots of birth certificates after that date, is to find Parish Registers with baptisms for children with parents named and father's occupation and address shown.
There are a lot of those records on line, but lots more still to be transcribed.
Plus there is no way of knowing about miscarriages and still births, and finding deaths for any births that did occur has the same problem as finding births ....... the need to find parish Registers with the information.
New records are coming online gradually ............. but if you ask this same question again, please come back to this thread so that no-one else repeats all the work done and posted on this thread.
