I posted a thread about my Saunders family some years ago.

I have searched though all "My Threads"...but can't find it!

To avoid duplicate research, I will post what I already know.

Today I received a copy of the birth cert of Mary Saunders..........

Mary Saunders born 17th Dec 1959.... Brokenford, Eling.

Mother....Sarah Saunders.....Residence: Brokenford, Eling. (No Father)

I have searched for hours and hours trying to find Sarah and daughter Mary on the 1861 census, but had no luck whatsoever!

I also can't find any information about what happened to Sarah after the 1871 census.

I have also searched for the sister Ellen C Saunders.......born 1834 Hordle, Hants after the 1851 census, but had no luck with her either.

Soooooo frustrating!! :-|

If anyone can please find any info......I will be most grateful.

I have tried so many times over the years to find out what happened to Sarah.

I keep putting her on the "back burner".........then every now and then I try again.

I suppose there comes a point where you have to admit defeat.

Such a shame as Sarah was my 2x Grt Grandmother and as daft as it sounds, I somehow feel it's my duty to find out what happened to her and not just leave her floating in mid air.
