Birth entry on Scotland's people- do you have it?

I wondered if it was possible to find any info on a Philip family,who are connected to the Dunne family.The info I have,so far,is
Mabel Fleming G.Dunne,c.1907, married a James G.Philip,c.1912 in Walsingham,Norfolk,in1934 and later lived in Hartlepool.James G.father was also James G, and I think,possibly,born Scotland,but not certain.Not a lot to go on,but wondered if you could help in any way?.

Sorry for not replying to Eringobragh1916.Been trapped by minding grandchildren over the hols.What I know about the family of my nephew by marriage's family
starts with Willam Callaghanc.1810,his son Joseph c.1850 and his wife Ann Tierney c.1857.All the above born Ireland.From Joseph and Ann,a son James T Callaghan c.1893 and his wife Florence Cinnamond c.1895.They were born Stockton and Hartlepool area.A son George W. Callaghan ,c.1914 was Grandfather to my nieces husband.Hope that clarifies ,a little bit.

Terry can you provide some info.as to what docs.etc .your nephew by marriage has relating to his family and who he is decended from...? No info.re living relatives needs to be posted.

If James Dunne snr son of John was born as he stated (Attestation Papers) in Granard Co Longford then I am still trying to find his Baptism....I have searched virtually all the Baptisms and 1831 Census for the Granard area and the Dunne /Dunn surname is not one common to the Co Longford. The following is from Griffiths valuation (1834)

Dunne Michael. Abbeylara Granard.....there are 2 Michaels in Abbeylara Townland
Dunne John : Ballymahon. Forgney Parish Cloonmore
Dunne John : Moydow. Killashee Parish Cloonmore

There is also Owen/Patrick/and a few more Micheals' scattered around but looking at Granard and searching for a John Dunne.. the above is all I can find .....Cloonmore is not in the Granard Civil Parish

OK, found Catherine's death (1892)- after all that, not a sister to James as her parents were James Dunn and Catherine Reilly.

So we're back to James Quin being a possible sister to Ann Dunne (nee Quin)

We were under the impression that James Quin may have been a relative (sister perhaps) of James Dunne's wife, Ann (Quin)- this may still be the case but looking at the births of the children it looks as though Catherine was a Dunne- so possibly a sister of James? Yes confusing!!

Some of the children seem to be listed under 'Queen', but I think it's the correct people.

A little too early for the statutory register- so marriage may not provide details of parents- although if we can identify the correct death, this will tell us if Catherine is a sister to James (Gawd- I hope that makes sense?!)

Ann's name looks like Catligant though that's a mighty strange name!

Just looking at the baptism Londonbelle posted compared with the one I posted...the year of birth is different (1866 v 1865). Looking at the image it must be 1866

TerryL Just out of curiosity what relationship are you to the Dunnes....??

AustinQ since my last posting I have gone through 1834 Census for Granard Parish Co.Longford and cannot find a Dunne Listed...it took some doing as the print in the books is so poor..I then followed that by searching RC Baptisms 1836-1838 that's even a bigger problem because of the writing and the poor copying....only came across 1 Dunne William 1836 son of Patrick and Bridgid so wonder if the Dunne's were just moving into the area...had to give up on the Registers half way through 1839 or I will be here at six oclock and still got nothing done..
I had wondered if some of the children of James snr and Ann were living with familyeither in Ireland /Scotland but nothing showing for Dunne Births in India so far....
