It will also give you his father's name and his occupation to confirm, or not, information found.

You say George was one of 11 and you give the names of his siblings which are the same as those in the census records posted at the beginning, so how do you know this?

Hello Audrey,
My husband Lou Churchill had a Great Aunt Vena who was married to Rob Grey. They did go to Canada for a while and their daughter Mavis died there. Both Vena and Rob are now deceased but there are still relatives in North Shields and surrounding areas.
His dad Luis Churchill has a sister Yvonne and brother David who I beleive are the last descendants of the Trotter family. Their father Luis was married to Nancy Trotter, Vena's sister. Their brother David died a few years ago.

Looking at the Royal Naval Division service records (on FindMyPast) for the George Trotter of Addison Street, North Shields (the one shown in the census previously posted) - he can't be the one who married Elizabeth Swinhoe.

That lad was apparently still single when he enlisted in 1913 - he gives his next of kin as his father George.

This might further clarify the age of the correct George Trotter:

Agreed Prickles! I do think all the posts related to the "wrong" George are going to be confusing for Angela.

If you look at my first post on page one Marie.......I edited and advised Angela to check out my first post on page two. Stating that I thought she had made a mistake regarding the George Trotter born 1895.
