I have been given a further Nugget by the friend I am researching for. She lives in New Brunswick Canada. Her relative is a William A Childe ,Child or Childs born May 1883 in England emigrating to Canada Sept 1905 occupation Baker.His father Edward b1855 also occupation Baker - Wheaton-Ashton - wife Mary - nee Wyles b 1853 Coventry. |

Thank you all for your time and efforts. As is often the case names are listed in different forms so I will study all the data you have kindly offered and work out a pattern. But it all seems to fit in and will give me a good stepping point to gain more information. |

just for confirmation since the Ancestry info seems to come from a tree or some such and is not actually accurate in some respects (Edward's year of birth) |

1881 census shows her as one year younger than edward when they are in digs together and may be wrong, so 1891 census entry for her birth date.( b 1853) 1901 shows her as a year older ( b 1853 ) if the same person. ? |
