	Richard Bolton appears to be a widower with adult children on the 1841 Census. This is him in 1851 with wife Ellen and possible daughter with surname Fairclough ............ Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 902 Send Message	Ann, you might have something there. There is a big gap between Elizabeth b. 1840 and Thomas b. 1848, so maybe Elizabeth was the daughter of James and Elizabeth.

	On Ellen's marriage to James Cheetham, she says her father was called Peter Hardman, Coal Miner This might be her baptism .........
