June did you actually know when you started this thread that Elizabeth Esther's name was SMITH and her husband was BENJAMIN Clarke and they married in 1900?

and yet you didn't give that information?

There is a Tree on Ancestry that gives her name as Rose Eva Esther Clark who married Alan Barton Calford Dallenger (1908-1983) a Chef in 1933. Rose died on 1 February 1953

Although Rose's Probate states that her husband was Alan Barton Catford Dallenger not Calford.

June, could it be Rosena that you are looking for?

I don't think many people have Margee, even here, I'm having to remember that although my friend has moved basically just round the corner, her postal address is now Blackheath rather than Greenwich. :-)

Rose, my excuse is that I'm Canadian and had never heard of the place.
