Thanks again everyone, I am actually (very distantly)connected to Ruth Tuckley Bushell. The "Tuckley" part of the name linked me with John Shaw / John Ernest Shaw born in 1879 in Middlesbrough. |

Ruth Bushell is in numerous GR trees (but not yours, I see) so why not get in touch and see if the 'owners' can enlighten you |

I'm afraid not, however it is interesting to see that Ethel Billingham's father was an inn keeper in 1901! |

John was John Ernest according to the marriage reg. |

Why would he marry in 1907.........leave his wife to 'marry' someone else in 1909, and return to the first edition by 1911? |

Yes, the above information is correct and I know that if no one can help, I will have to purchase three certificates which given the price of them I was hoping to avoid. Thank you for feedback. |

I can't think that a cast iron moulder would morph into a hotel manager in the space of 10 years...........but, stranger things have happened........especially if the wife's family owned the hotel (that's conjecture) |

Is this "your" John Shaw in 1901? A big leap to Hotel Manager in 1911, but not impossible. |
