EDIT: I went and looked at the images on FMP for Elizabeth's baptism, and her father is also recorded as a Corpl Rifle Brigade. Elizabeth's first husband Hector Pollock was a Police Inspector. Her second husband Nolan Bedford was a 'survey of India'

This is what I know.

Alice Mary Gertrude Hexter married Joseph George Horrocks 7/4/1894 in India. Alice was born 1868 and Joseph 1869.

Joseph was conducting a "survey of India". His father was, according to the marriage record, J G Horrocks. NOTE no mention of the surname Murphy!! Joseph died 1926 in India

Alice's father was W Hexter and was a witness. The other witness was A Garnett-Kemp.
