Are you sure that is their parents as they seem a bit old to have a child as young as Walter on the 1871.

I agree Elizabeth does appear to be an "older" Mum.

Elizabeth and Robert had 9 children ranging from 1840--1861

No I haven't been able to trace all the children.

Son James born 1840 disappears after the 1851 census

Daughter Eliza born 1843 is a servant on the 1871 census and then she seems to disappear too.

Ruth Virtue Dudley is quite an unusual name. I thought she would be easy to follow but it seems not.

I am still looking. I have found a marriage in 1874 of a Ruth Dudley in Befordshire to either a George Summerlin or a Henry Vann Ellis and am just looking to see if I can find either of those names with a wife Ruth.

However, there is a Walter Dudley on the 1911 census born 1861 Tadworth, Surrey.

He has a son Ernest Dudley who is a Postman.

So I think the death you posted probably belongs to that Walter Dudley.
