She might have done again, it looks like she may have just added Alice in her name, because on the marriage cert it states Winifred violet Houghton (no Alice). But that's a big help thank you I'll look in to that

Hi,

I'm having immense problems trying to find a Winifred violet Alice Houghton.

She married Lawrence Houghton in 1974, I have their marriage certificate and it states that she was divorced and changed her name to Houghton by deed poll but then married Lawrence, says her fathers name is Joseph Bartlett. She was 59 when she married Lawrence so she was either born 1914 or 1915. She has probably died now but having trouble finding a death record as well....please help
