I found Martin Bishop still living at No 7 Kings Road in 1911.........it only goes up to No 11.

I wondered if the eldest child William might have been living there with his siblings in 1911.

Especially as Louisa Ellen gives 21 Kings Road as her place of residence at the time of her marriage in 1914.

Yes Prickly Holly I was going to purchase my mums' birth certificate as I do not know the maiden name of her mum. Thanks.

My mum, Ivy Lillian Keefe, did say that she was one of a twin that died. I will take Elizabeth Hannah Atkins out then.
Definitely born in October of 1897.

Probably unlikely then but you never know ! ;-)

The Robert St address seems to have been mainly used as a Boarding House in 1901.

There are no deaths registered for an Elizabeth Keefe in 1897.

I know that my mum, Ivy Lillian Keefe, her mum died in childbirth with her in 1897. Elizabeth I believe she is Elizabeth Hannah Atkins. I found a marriage in 1885.
I am thrilled that Alfreds' address was found as I remember going there as a young girl, in Potters Bar.

There does not appear to be a marriage between William Keefe and Elizabeth.

Unless you know Elizabeth's maiden name.......you will need to purchase a copy of one of the children's birth certificates.

because a law that was passed that promised to keep all the information provided in a census private and confidential for 100 years ...................


which usually means that most people on the census, certainly adults, would be dead

otherwise people would not be honest, and would refuse to answer the questions


It is still the same today.

Why do we have to wait a hundred years to see a census? I find the census more helpful than the other registries.
