In 1911 census William and Margaret lived in Cheyne Walk and had 4 children listed Thomas, Dorothy, Patrick and Moira. First couple surnames spelt Gillan then it changed to Gillian. |

Thanks for info will try freebmd. I connect with them as great grand daughter my grandfather was Stanley Gillian who I had hoped to find on 1911 census but he wasnt there though through an insurance document he was named and living at that address in cheyne walk with Margaret and he was 5. So the plot thickens. |

A tree on Ancestry has middle name Patrick for William. And has this electoral register for the family in 1926: |

The document referred to was an insurance document that my uncle found when my grandmother Ivy died. Also while by Grandad (Stanley) was in the Army my grandmother used to go round and help his mum (Margaret) out. |

Do you know if there is any other information that can be obtained from the electrol roll other than address and occupants at the time. |
