Hi Everyone, hoping you are able to help. I am having problems sorting my husband's Gt. Grandmother. She married Wm.Senior Chorlton-on-Medlock 1875 age 19. 1881 Census shows them living with her widowed mother Catherine in Northwich, Cheshire. 1871 Census shows a Mary Elizabeth b.1860 daughter of Catherine and Thomas. I have found a birth for Mary Elizabeth b.1860 Northwich. I can only find a death, which fits, for a Mary only. Is this likely to be the same child all the way through? Is it likely she would have dropped the Elizabeth part of her name? Any help would be appreciated. :-\ |
