Trying to find any trace of my ancestors Francis Joseph McEwan who married Annie Simmons. They had a daughter Ethel in 1896. Not having any luck can anyone help? Thank you.

Can you say what you mean by 'any trace' - are you tracing backwards or forwards, for example.

Just looking at the image of that marriage (Francis Joseph to Annie). I can't make out the residence (same for both) of the bride and groom but doesn't it seem as though they've put that as Francis John's surname as well??
