How old was Percy? Does it state that he was divorced? Is his father listed as Frederick William?

You need to be certain it is the same man- as I stated before, there are lots of Percy H Rogers.

Right so Percy Howard isn't my grandfather mine is Percy horace Edward Rogers so this marriage to Margaret is not my grandfather however I believe my details are the same as vals he was married to a grave eliazabeth Massie ???

so if that's correct it's not the same man...

A tree on Ancestry has Percy Howard Rogers born Hastings 31/12/1909 died Kingston Upon Thames 16/12/1977 married Margaret Ann Reid Sept 1952 in Kensington she was born 7/12/1922 died 24/11/2012.

Tina, after his divorce in 1951 I don't see any mention of him in the papers- although the online records are patchy after 1950.

married Grace Elizabeth Rogers in 1932- divorced 1951

Tina believes the same man married her Nan (Alice Maud) in 1952- I'm waiting for Tina to confirm if his age and father's details match those for his 1932 marriage.

However, Tina has also stated that the same man also married a Margaret A in 1952- just a few months after he married her Nan.

I have Tina's Nan and Percy listed together on the electoral register in Poplar until 1956.

Have you got his birth certificate for exact date of birth?

Because my search relates him to both women then my grandad left the family house a couple years later when my nan found out..! You just couldn't write this stuff honestly.

I can see the other 1952 marriage to Margaret in the indexes (it was registered later 1952 than your Nan's marriage)- How do you know it's the same man that married your Nan?

There are lots of Percy H Rogers. Unless you have the other 1952 marriage certificate, or have information to say otherwise, I think it unlikely they are the same person.

Percy lived with your Nan until at least 1956 (according to Electoral registers).

This is correct my nan did marry him in 1952 in poplar. No she moved away with my dad this man left him when he was very young. I also believe I have many cousins out there looking for the same man. I have a copy of the marriage cert for my nan and granddad I 1952

Tina- your Nan is on the Electoral register at 133 Grosvenor Buildings, Poplar in 1951/ 1952- her name is spelled Alicia Maud. After her marriage she is at the same address until 1956 with Percy H Rogers. They are not listed at the address in 1958.
