The birth I attached to the 1949 death was the one for Percy Herbert.................which relates, in fact, to the later death.................so 'yours' may be back in the frame - if the age on it was inaccurate...........

Appears in trees on Ancestry. None have death recorded.

hi.
i have all details on my nan elizabeth grace massie. when she re-married in 19th january 1952 at Long Buckby independant church, northants. states she was formally grace elizabeth rogers, formally massie. under the conditions bit on the certifcate it states my nans condition was "formally the wife of percy horace edward rogers from whom she divorced. I HAVE PERCY'S BIRTH AND MARRIAGE. IT IS JUST HIS DEATH I AM SEEKING. i can not seem to find another marriage for him. my father albert' sister, my aunt margaret was born in 1941. so i presume i am looking for a death from 1941 to 2001. that would make him a hundred in 2001. which i doubt he was alive still. there is a percy herbert rogers from swindon. but that is the wrong date of birth. thankyou for trying to help me. i appreciate it. val.

On his marriage he is only showing as Percy Rogers, so could he have stopped using his middle names, and so may have also died just as Percy Rogers?

This gentlemans death was registered by someone who obviously didn't know him as there is no DOB shown,

is there a site where you can actually view the original certificates before you buy them to make sure you have the right person.
i have found a marriage in 1951 for a Percy E H Rogers to a Doris Manktelow in 1951, Ealing London.

Some older parish records are on line, but its not possible to view BMD certs online. You have to buy them.

Northampton Mercury - Friday 03 October 1941
Harry Westmorland Porter, Relieving Officer summoned Percy Horace Edward Rogers, labourer of Jubilee Park, Long Buckby for running away and leaving his wife and children chargeable to the county P.A.C at Long Buckby on July 1. It was now stated that Rogers was now paying regularly and the case was dismissed on payment of 4s costs.
