looks like it could be! mmmm this could be another brick wall though as I bet the army can't help, well, security reasons etc. I think I might try to email that cemetery I spoke of earlier. A long shot but worth a try! Thanks again |

John Watson Whittingham born 1912 England. With his parents Joseph and Bertha Whittingham (her maiden name being Watson) arrived Quebec Oct. 1927 White Star Dominion line, SS Doric. He ended up as a Major, Canadian Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. After sustaining a head injury in Italy he returned to his mother 's home on Dean Rd/St, in Kingston Ontario in 1944. His service no was ZP1717. His father died in Cornwall, Ontario in 1957 but cannot find trace of John or his mum's burial place. Any eagle eyes out there got any suggestions? :-) |
