That looks like what I found re 1871 census. Looks like my Thomas was not at Wandsworth after all re 1881? Also looks like I have been looking at the wrong marriage for Clara. Ah well! |

Hi, Thomas Dartnell 1861-1905 born in St.Lukes, London,married to Clara Ary 1861-1937, is listed as being an inmate at Wandsworth Prison in 1881, yet he is working as a civil servant at the Mint in 1891! I would really like to find out why he ended up in prison, can anyone help? I have so far been unable to find anything under newspapers on genes website. Many thanks |
