The Aaron Hampson killed in 1917 was a relative but it's not the Aaron born 1860 in Sheffield. In 1880 Aaron Hampson born 1860 was baptised as an adult as a Roman Catholic which I believe must have done it to marry his wife Elizabeth McCarthy.I think maybe they could have gone to Ireland because I am unable to find the couple in any of the passenger lists but unsure. |
