How have you got back to James? Is he a direct ancestor? I so, which of his children are you descended from? If he married, his marriage cert will give his father's occupation which would help identify him on the census. |

When you say that you can find no Taylors living there before or after that date, do you mean in the 1901 and 1911 censuses, or on ER's? |
