I cant find the records on freebmd - i must be doing it wrong

No news from the phone call I am afraid. We think the older brother Richard might be correct - he lived at a place called 'Rose Cottage' on Dunmow Road (as far as i recall)

It seems Laurie married a "Holden"

I am not seeing any obvious births for the couple though.

did she have or live with anyone in her later life?

She has children by three different fathers, all took her name of Baker, none of the fathers were registered on any of the certificates. My father was an American GI.
