Yes there are a few Gibbon Rammells from the same family! The name carried on until the 1930's then died out completely.

If he was apprentice to a Tallow Chandler he would have been a trainee candle maker.

There is also a 1741 record of this name.

The top of the column for first person's name is headed.... Masters names place of abode and trade, so one would assume that the apprentice would be an apprentice in that trade..?

The 1741 record reads
Henry Knott of Isle of Thanett Kent...(apps. name and father) Gibbon son of Gibbon Rammell... .........( no occupation shown in record)

Forgot to add Henry Knott was a Carpenter
