Usually when I get the blank box instead of adverts it usually means problems for me on this site

The advert box at the top of my screen is now totally BLANK.

I have had that cookie ad on here, but I've had it when using Firefox, IE or Chrome (I toggle between browsers).

I tried Adblocker but it was also blocking legitimate pop ups so had to uninstall it.

Also find that advert strange but also getting it on my BT homepage

Just wondering why there is an Italian advert for QVC showing on this site.

I can only speak for myself, I am using Firefox 21.0 and since the days of FF 3.1 I have used Adblock Plus (currently version 2.2.4) and have never had the slightest problem.
My son has Adblock Plus in a version for Chrome.
Nobody in my house uses IE so I don't know about that.
I am always horrified when I go round to my Mum's and see flashing and intrusive ads all over her screen. I don't know what I would do without my Adblock.

There's no need to see any ads whatsoever on any website.

Only retirement ads for me although I did have that fashion one recently.

If i have searched for something on Amazon, Argos or Trip advisor I get them sometimes.

Never look up porn, so I am ok there :-D
