Hi Guys, we seem to have a bit of confusion here...I have Emma Eliza Humprey married to William Robert Cant in 1912 Maidstone Kent, she is aged 21 and hes 27..They have had 5 children Winifred was the last in 1919..William Cant seems to have disappeared after this and was in the Navy.. He is now married to my great aunt Elizabeth Neish in 1919 aged (27) again.. The father listed for William is Henry Joseph and mother is Mary Ann Cole, which is correct. On the first marriage Emma Humphreys father is listed as Richard and the witness is Richard..Yet everyone on Ancestry has her father listed as Edward, which is quiet confusing, I keep telling myself that there is an error, but Richard is still living at the time of the first marriage in 1912 and the witness could well be a brother, so I cant see how there could be room for an error..Can anyone help :-0
